ABIDE
Defined as: To endure without yielding, to remain stable or in a fixed state, to conform,Permanent.

John 15:7 says "If you abide in me,and my words abide in you,ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you." If we are truly disciples we will abide in his word and we will know the truth which will set us free. The Lord said " Believe me that I am in the father and the father is in me, or else believe on account of the works that I do." And if we love Him we will keep His commandments.
      The Lord is telling us to allow His living word (Jesus) to make His home in us. He is telling us to meditate on them and to fill our minds and hearts with them so the abundance of his words will proceed from our mouths to the ears that will hear. In Col.3:16 He says " Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly." Most of us have know idea of what this means. This is one reason we fall short of the power that lays within us. when the word is abiding in you it is like a favorite song that repeats it's self over and over again in your mind. when the word of God abides in you it to will do much the same thing, but it is life to those who hear it. Suddenly from deep inside of you they spring forth like a river of life.They appear when the situation is at hand for them to come-forth The words of God are the true answers we need to over ride the wisdom of men. The worldly answers seem right but soon they fade. In verse 12 it says to put on these things (walk in them); a compassionate heart, kindness,humility,meekness and patience,bearing with one another and forgive as the Lord has for given you.So now let us move forward as the word says " Therefore let us give earnest heed to the things we have heard...."(Hebrews 2:1)
      Unless we know the promises of God how can we move ahead, so don't let other things get in your way make time to ABIDE in His word and study to show yourself approved. Gods words are LIFE, read your BIBLE and study.....To he that can hear......in His love,tom

                                                         THE REAL ENEMY

"THOUGH WE WALK IN THE FLESH, WE DO NOT WAR AFTER THE FLESH." (2cor.10:3)
     
    Have you been having a problem lately with someone or some people? Is there a reason that has caused this problem for you? Have you found yourself wanting to cause hurt to that person or persons? Stop and consider this: The word (BIBLE) says " we do not wrestle against FLESH and BLOOD and since people are flesh and blood are war is not against them, they are not the source of the problem. It doesn't matter what they did to you, if you spend your time fighting with them your just wasting your time. Ask yourself who is the real ENEMY?  Take a look at EPH.6:12,
" WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES,POWERS AND RULERS OF DARKNESS IN THIS WORLD,SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES." Satan and his demons are the REAL enemy, life long enemies while we are in this world! Remember this: PERSECUTION IS NOT THE MANIFESTATION OF A PERSONS HATE FOR YOU, IT IS THE MANIFESTATION OF SATAN'S FEAR OF YOU.
When we as believers start using the WORD AS THE SWORD HE GETS SCARED and looks to find someone to use against you. Next time someone starts up with you don't get side tracked into fighting them, Learn to war against the enemy, who is behind it all. Put on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to withstand every attack. We have that power residing in us, the power of LOVE,FAITH and BELIEF, Gods authority given to us in Christ Jesus.                                   TODAY HE SETS BEFORE YOU A BLESSING OR A CURSE
THIS MAY BE YOUR FIRST CHANCE TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE?  To know what it means to be forgiven. To acknowledge sin, and to look at your life and its effects on others. Your choice of life or death. You question who is this who says this to you? A voice crying in the wilderness.
      See He has set before you today life and good,death and evil. If you decide to obey the commandments of the Lord our God by Loving Him and walking in His statutes,and rules than you shall live and the Lord thy God will bless you;but if your heart turns away,you will not hear. You will be drawn away to worship the god of this world and to serve those desires. I declare to you today you shall perish and not enter the promised land(HEAVEN). For God has set before you life and death, blessings and curses, therefore choose wisely so that you and your offspring may live loving the Lord your God,obeying His voice and holding fast to Him. For He is life and length of days and so that you may dwell in the land he promised to our fore fathers, Abraham,Issac and Jacob. NOW IS THE TIME OF YOUR CHOICE; WHAT WILL IT BE?

                                                      OUR AWESOME GOD

I am one spirit with the Lord: 1Cor.6:17, therefore where ever I go He goes with me and along with us goes power,wisdom,victory,and most of all LOVE. How awesome is that?

" But thanks be to God,who gives us the victory-making us more than conquerors- through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor.15:57). And if death is swallowed up in victory(1Cor.15:50-58) what else is? If we take a look around what will we find that is also swallowed up? God is actively working in the people who surround us(ME). I find that no matter how difficult things might appear He always enables me to accomplish what He has asked! Praise God that even at my lowest He is able to lift me up! So today I will celebrate the Victory that is at hand.Whether it be sickness,disease,poverty or disillusionment I can overcome all that the enemy brings my way.

So lets look at the situation you are in now! Does it seem to be stubbornly refusing to go away? Does it seem to be immune to all solutions no matter what you do? Now realize why Jesus came to earth; He put on a physical body to show us that He had Authority over all demons,,sickness,disease,poverty,fear,and all the other curses that came when sin (THE LAW OF DEATH) came into the world. He MASTERED everything that was in the world of the intellect, and every thing that was physical. Before He ascended He said " All authority has been given unto me both in heaven and on earth." (Matt.28:18) And that same authority resides in us (The Word).READ Jn.17. know this; He is seated at the right hand of the father interceding on our behalf ,now let us come BOLDLY TO THE THROWN OF GRACE seeking to know His will.

           A COVENANT OF PROSPERITY
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. To begin my day with rejoicing and praise puts me into a frame of mind of how great our God is. Each work day is one to be thankful for because no one knows what tomorrow will bring. But as I read my devotional this is what spoke to me.  (Duet.8:18) "But thou shall remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish his covenant." (Duet.8-18) spoke to me in this way; we are blessed to live in a country where Food and prosperity have grown so much that there is little scarcity of these things. And yet we lack very little but still have lost sight of our provider, YHWH; and we have forgotten these words "Take care lest you forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments,rules and statutes which He commanded us to do." We have eaten and are full and have built homes and survived well, we have multiplied and prospered and many have not forgotten the poor. But still we have forgotten who has enabled us; Have we had these thoughts: "My power and the might of My hand has gotten me this. Now think; it is He who has brought this to past in our lives and now as I look about what I see is all this we have is Perishing. We have forgotten the one who allows. We have broken covenant with our Lord and stepped to the side of darkness and because of this we will perish. Yet it is never to late to humble ourselves and seek forgiveness; so I leave you with this thought; Where does your Heart Stand?

That GLORIOUS name:

This morning I awoke to my devotional around 6am and found my self excited to share this with you all!

" WHAT EVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME(JESUS),THIS I WILL DO, THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON. IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT." [JN.14:13-14]

This is more than a phrase, not just something we tack on at the end of a prayer; we present our request on the Basis of all that Jesus IS,so boldly accept and expect those request to be granted.How many times do we say to ourselves I hope he will answer that prayer? Not realizing that the name JESUS guarantees that these prayers will be answered. They have all the power and authority we will ever need, don't let yourself be robbed of the power in Christ words.Read Jn.17 and understand who we are in Jesus. Heb.2:1,8,10,14; V.14 says He rendered him (devil) powerless!!!!And He gave this authority to us (those who believe,trust and faithfully walk in His Word) the word POWER is derived from the Greek word dynamis and exousia which means derived or conferred "AUTHORITY" ( Matt.21:22-27); from this it comes to denote concretely the BEARER of AUTHORITY ON EARTH. CHRIST HAD ALL POWER ON EARTH granted by his Father; and he gave it to His disciples and to the sons of God (Jn.1:12). I pray that this will encourage you and stir you into a deeper walk with the Lord........

The seed of Faith.

This day I would like to share with you what has been happening in my life these past few days. My loved ones have been attacked with sickness and disease, as I sought the word of the Lord he opened my eyes to these passages. ( Matt.17:20 ) " for verily I say unto you, if you have faith you shall say unto this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you."
( Heb. 11:6 ) " and without faith it is impossible to please God for whoever would draw near to Him must  believe that He exists and that he rewards those who seek him." (Rom. 10:17 ) " So faith comes from hearing through the word of Christ."
To many times the enemy of our soul disheartens us with these words. "Did God really say that or maybe that's not Gods will for you?" There are over 7000 promises that God has given us and if we take the time to search them out we will soon find that not only our faith will build so will our courage to stand against the fiery darts that come our way. The promises such as ( Isaiah 38:7 ) "This shall be a sign for YOU,that the Lord will do this thing that he has PROMISED. He tells us not to waver at His promises, it is unbelief that that deters our walking in those promises. Doubt and unbelief keep us from receiving those promises and today if you will take hold of His word and start to search out for yourself His truths, you will be more than a conqueror you will be leaping for joy and over every mountain that come before you.
I tell you this for my joy is in knowing that He is able to deliver His every promise; His word will not return void. So my prayers for our family will be come fulfilled today............AMEN

Good day my brothers & sisters, today I would like to ask you to pause and contemplate these words.

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporary: but the things which are not seen are ETERNAL." (2 Cor.4:18)

Each day we have set before us the things of this world but now we must make the decision in how we will go. Today I have decided to put my trust in Gods word to the fullest of my ability. What I have found is that the word of God contains 7000 promises to cover every circumstance we will ever face. No matter how bad things look because  of the changes going on around us and the worlds situation; Remember this: the world changes but Gods word is the same yesterday,today and forever. No matter how bad you feel or how lost you might be His words will renew you and bring life to you. No matter how your bank account looks the word says he will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. (Phil.4:19) Don't settle for a meager existence; center your attention on the eternal truth of Gods words; stop looking at the temporary things of the world for they are a changing.
